Jose Villa in Tuscany: A Borgo Finocchieto Wedding and a Flat Lay We Love

Jose Villa has a way of making light the star of the story, and this wedding day at Borgo Finocchieto in the Tuscan hills is a gorgeous example. He follows the bride from soft window light in plaster-walled rooms with old wooden beams to a cypress-lined drive, clipped garden hedges, an ivy-covered stone wall and sunlit stone terraces, and every frame has that airy, film-soft glow we adore in his work. Bright, warm color images sit beside quiet black and white moments, like the gown pooled across a stone window seat and the couple's shadow falling on the ivy, and the custom fan-pleated gown CLG Creative created with Danielle Frankel Studio looks sculptural in every single one.

I just love this flat lay. Jose Villa styled it and put it together so beautifully, layering pearls, two linen ring boxes and a pearl clutch beneath a drape of sheer tulle in soft golden light.
