For Caroline and William, the whole wedding began with one deeply personal piece: her custom gown. Designed with Britt of BW Designs, the dress was given a brand-new neckline and hand-sewn lily of the valley and dogwood appliqués, and that delicate bloom became the thread running through their May 16, 2026 celebration at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, South Carolina.

Planner Sara Divine turned an empty sailcloth tent into a garden of blush pink and fresh green, layered with lattice and cane patterns, fern-lined planters, scalloped place settings and a hand-painted floral dance floor. Tiny Shindigs carried the motif through the crest and invitation suite (with tiny bass sketches for William, a devoted fisherman), and Couture Cakes of Greenville modeled the cake on a swatch of the gown. Our favorite heirloom touches: hand-painted tambourines tied in silk ribbon as a nod to Ole Miss, an embroidered lily of the valley handkerchief, and our Radiant Roseate ring box tucked into the detail flat lay.

Two pink and green flat lays on pink and sage backdrops: one built from the invitation suite, the other from the bride's heirloom getting-ready details. The bright lily of the valley tambourine and loose silk ribbons appear in both and tie them together.
