A Timeless Rom-Com Wedding at the Arbor Room in New Orleans City Park

Coleen and Felix first met on the dance floor at a medical school gala, so it's fitting that their wedding felt like the finale of a favorite '90s romantic comedy. Felix proposed in New Orleans City Park during a surprise downpour, and in March the couple returned to the park to marry at the Arbor Room, saying their vows in front of the Popp Fountain.

Amanda Price Events kept the palette to navy, silver, green and white, and Hummingbird Floral Studio chose white and pale green blooms that blend into the gardens around the fountain, adding silver candelabras at the cake and guest book tables. Coleen wore the clean, A-line "Charlotte" gown by Jenny Yoo with a cathedral veil, and her bridesmaids each picked their own silhouette in Shona Joy midnight navy satin. The night ended with a vintage-piped almond cake, late-night ice cream sandwiches, a silver sequin after-party dress and a getaway in a white vintage Rolls-Royce. FLAT LAY RECIPE:

A quiet green and white flat lay on soft grey linen. The embossed invitation and reply card anchor the layout, with yellow-centered peonies, blush anemones and green viburnum tucked around the edges and the ring boxes placed in the gaps, so the sage linen box adds one strong note of color while everything else stays soft and tonal.
